it was against Marblehead. Hamilton-Wenham was leading by 3 points at
the start of the second half but was unable to keep the lead as

the lead for good half way through the second half. Christian Ecker and
Lucas Prioli had solid games scoring 8 points each. Stephen Brao had his
best game of the season with a strong presence under the basket and
scoring 6 points. Nick Loeper and Francisco St. Hilarie (4 points each)

The Hamilton Wenham 5th Grade boys evened up their record at 2 wins and
2 losses with a thrilling victory over North Reading. North Reading
proved to be a formidable opponent trading baskets with the Generals
throughout the game. But in the end the Generals prevailed mainly
thanks to a strong performance from Lucas Prioli who, with frequent
trips to the free throw line, netted 12 points. Stephen Brao, who plays
with more confidence in each game, scored 6 points. Other contributers
were Nick Loeper, Alex Rogers, Kian McGee and Peter Duval (2 points
each). Andrew Weigand sunk a crucial free throw mid way through the
second half which proved to be the difference in the final score.
Christian Ecker and Cisco St. Hilaire displayed excellent ball handling
and defensive skills. |
